For those of you that were unable to make the discussion Sun afternoon, this is The Hearld-Sun's article on the Parrish St discussion. We are so proud of Durham's rich history. That is why we strive to continue that legacy through The Greater Durham Black Chamber of Commerce. Here is a quote from the speaker Dr. Weare: The buildings along Parrish Street, Weare said, also tell a story of the people who made the Black Wall Street era happen.
